Zion’s Cause Baptist Church in Draffenville is hosting A Walk Through Bethlehem Friday, December 3 through Sunday, December 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 each evening.

New Harmony Baptist Church in Paris, Tennessee is holding a live nativity Friday, December 3 through Sunday, December 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 each evening. The church is located at 7050 Highway 69 South in Paris.

Calvert City’s Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, December 4, beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Fifth Avenue. Parade lineup begins at 4:45 at Pathway Church.

The Yule Light Up the Night 5k will be held Thursday, December 9, at Noble Park in Paducah. A 1k run for kids begins at 7:00 and the 5k begins at 7:30. Information is available online at www.runsignup.com.

Grace Point Church, at 6125 Benton Road in Reidland, is hosting A Night in Bethlehem Friday, December 10 and Saturday, December 11, from 6:00 to 8:30 each evening.

Fundraisers

Calvert City’s Jingle All the Way 5k and Candy Cane Fun Run will be held Saturday, December 4, at Memorial Park. On-site registration begins at 7:00, the 5k begins at 8:00, and the Fun Run begins at 9:30. Proceeds benefit the Calvert/Sharp Family Resource Center. The Grinch’s Stink, Stank, Stunk 5k will be held Saturday, December 18, at Johnson Boulevard in Murray, near the Murray High School tennis courts. The run begins at 8:00 a.m. Proceeds benefit Towing for Toys, an effort to provide Christmas gifts for children in need in our area. More information is available online at www.runsignup.com.
