Revival, Homecoming, and Other Services
New Concord Baptist Church is holding a revival from April 21st-24th at the church located at 5500 State Route 1241, Melber, KY. Evangelist Brother Randy McPheron, who is the founder of Baptist Bikers of Kentucky, will be the guest speaker, and Brother Roger Wilkerson will lead music. On Sunday, April 21st at 10 AM there’ll be a special concert featuring Lonnie and Edith King, with worship to follow at 11 AM. On Sunday evening, there will be a motorcycle ride at 3 PM, with hot dogs, chips, and drinks to follow at 4 PM. The rest of the revival services will start at 6:30 pm each night, Monday-Wednesday.

House of Worship Ministry is hosting the “Courageous Men’s Conference” on Saturday, April 20th from 9am-2pm at the church located at 4282 State Route 94 East, Sedalia, Kentucky 42079. Calvert City Nursing and Rehab is holding a golf scramble on Friday, May 3rd at 1 pm, with lunch at 12 pm, at the Calvert City Golf and Country Club located at 123 Country Club Ln, Calvert City, KY 42029. Cost is $300.00 per team, with hole sponsorships available, as well as private person or “in remembrance” sponsors. Contests for the day will include “Closest to the Pin” and “Long Drive,” for both men and women. Payouts for the event will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 8th place teams. River Tin Street Rods is hosting the 47th Annual Charity Car Show on June 1st from 9am-3pm at 2900 Irvin Cobb Drive in Paducah, Kentucky. Entry fee is $20 dollars. Entries are open to all 1974 and older hot rods, customs, muscle cars and trucks. Proceeds from the car show will benefit local disabled veterans.
